Live Video Directing

In addition to my work behind the camera, over the last decade I have worked as a Live Video Director/Vision Mixer usually directing 4-5 cameras for live events coverage. This has seen me work across some of the most iconic venues across the UK and Europe, including the Royal Albert Hall, London & Durham Cathedral.

I started live directing music events for direct DVD sale, webcast and live screen relay. I covered some of the biggest brass banding events across the UK and Europe including the European Brass Band Championships, Brass in Concert Championships and concerts by the Black Dyke Band and Cory Band.

Following this I was invited to live direct many Salvation Army events for webcast, taking me around the world including Canada & Singapore.

More recently my live directing has seen me covering ceremonial events at the University of Durham, University of Liverpool & Newcastle University, all for DVD and Blu-Ray sale, webcasting and live screen relay.

I have also covered several remote learning experiences at the University of Derby and Coventry University, including TED X talks.

Whether a simple two camera mix or the requirement to integrate presentations, live graphics, or video play-ins, I have covered most situations.

I can either work freelance, with your own equipment, or provide equipment too via a partner company.

While events are on hold, webcasting is becoming critical to business and organisational communication. Put somebody in the mixing chair who has a proven track record, can handle the pressure and deliver great results on time, every time! Why not Hire Me?
