Ticked Pink Ball (2024)

The annual fund-raising ball hosted by Ticked Pink, raising vital funds for Breast Cancer Research here in the UK.

The ball represents an amazing event, with hundreds of guests, celebrities and amazing music acts!

Filming the ball brings its own challenges, with the need to ‘capture the action’ in such a small space of time, and once it’s happened its happened!

This year we worked as a team of three, with two camera operators. This meant we could split the filming load between us, with Steve focusing on the b roll material, mainly shot on the gimbal, and myself covering the interviews, timelapses and a selection of b roll during the presentations and music acts.

Shot on my Sony FX9 Shooting Package, along with the A7IV for timelapse sequences. Steve shot on his Sony FX3 and Ronin Gimbal along with his FX9.
